Here is another simple recipe and remember, if you know a good recipe, and want to share it, email us at hello@todayonline.uk.
4 ingredient biscuits. Suitable for a quick snack and easy to whip up. You can change and add things, and the kids will love them.
It’s simple and delicious and has a quick cooking time.
WHAT YOU NEED:
INGREDIENTS TO MAKE 1 LOAF:
200g of unsalted butter, softened
200g of white caster sugar
1 medium egg, beaten
400g of plain flour (or self-raising)
OPTIONAL:
A drop of vanilla essence
Sprinkle of salt
Shredded coconut/chocolate powder
Icing sugar/Royal icing (or powdered sugar)
HOW TO MAKE:
Beat the butter and sugar together, ensuring no lumps and then add the beaten egg.
Fold in the 400g of plain flour (you can use self-raising if desired).
If you want to add the optional extras, you can do this now.
Place in small discs on greaseproof paper and space apart and bake in a preheated oven for 15-20 mins, or until golden brown.
Sprinkle with icing sugar (powdered sugar) if desired for extra taste.
